The History of Ballroom

A long time ago in the same galaxy as this one, there was a band called The Hungry Housewives. They were interesting, and let's leave it at that. The band consisted of Steve Honoshowsky on drums and vocals, Don Jorocki on guitar, and Vincent Brue on bass and vocals. After a couple years, Mike "have fun with it" Biskup joined the band on guitar and keys. Then Mike Biskup quit the band, and the band broke up. It was an amicable parting, and everyone continued to play with each other in various new bands. Mike joined Steve's No Use For Humans for a while, and everyone played at one point or another in Vincent's South Jersey Seashore Lifeguard Convention Band and Lifeguard Nights. Mike and Steve also played in ten billion other bands during that time. Don mostly drank.

Recently, out of the blue, these gentlemen started talking about reuniting The Hungry Housewives. A rehearsal was scheduled. Don Jorocki didn't show up for it. Steve, Mike and Vin ended up writing a few new songs that afternoon and deciding that Don Jorocki was probably never going to actually make it to practice, so they might as well just start a new band without him. Mike suggested the name Ballroom. Vin and Steve liked it.

So that's pretty much how Ballroom came to be Ballroom. Ballroom has like 10 awesome songs already, and will soon have even more awesome songs. Ballroom will probably be performing somewhere, sometime soon. Maybe. If you're lucky. Ballroom will let you know.
